This weeks blogging challenge I would like to be a photo challenge! So after a little research I found this...

 A photographer, Abba Richman, went on a scavenger hunt to create a photographic alphabet made from everyday items, lampposts, ladders, blocks toys, use your imagination!

I think this would be fun to do, so I challenge you to create a word or sentance from photographs found in your enviroment! Post them on your blog so we all can see!

Busy Week-Surgery today...

My sweet Zoe had to have surgery this morning. Scary stuff. Nothing to serious, but she did have to be put under anestesia and that is so, so scary. Esp. after watching "Awake", terrible but a good movie. All the terrible scenerios in the world go through your mind when your little one is in surgery by the way, I don't know where I came up with it all. She didn't even cry when the OR nurse came to get her, just looked at me with these wide eyes...
Finally after about 50 minutes they let me see her, a nurse was holding her in a rocking chair and I could hear her wailing from down the hall. As soon as she saw me she raised her hands up to me and I held her tight until they discharged her, about 45 minutes afer that. And about an hour after that, she was iup running around and happy all day.

Re-Usable Lunch containers!
Time needed: 30 Minutes or Less
CRAFT MATERIALS:


SANDWICH BOX:
1-gallon milk jug
Marker
Scissors
Thumbtack
Adhesive-backed Velcro dot

SNACK BOX:
Juice or milk carton, in any size from a half-pint to a quart
Scissors
Adhesive-backed Velcro dot



1. SANDWICH BOX: Mark a clean 1-gallon milk jug as shown.

Cut along the lines with scissors. To make the crease lines, use a thumbtack to pierce a row of dots at 1/4-inch intervals across each side of the jug, 1 3/4 inches up from the bottom.

Fold the flaps at these dotted lines, then open them and fold them in the opposite direction along the lines (this will make the flaps easier for your kids to open and close). Fold up the box and add an adhesive-backed Velcro dot closure.

2. SNACK BOX: Use a clean juice or milk carton. Cut off the top, then cut the sides into flaps as shown. Carefully crease the flaps, then fold them down and add an adhesive-backed Velcro dot closure.

My little is 20 months old, and is showing the signs that shes ready. I think she'd happily disagree. She does love to tell me when she poo's though. Thanks kid.
